Titans World Cup 2006 Tour (Germany)

The following is the website to follow the U-14 Titans during their 10 day trip playing games & watching the World Cup: Titans in Germany.

After close to two years of "talking about it", the Titans really did it - heading to the 2006 World Cup in !  The group that headed over in June included 15 players and 52 parents, siblings, grandparents - Titans groupies.  The group had a fantastic tour, which included several games against foreign teams, training with Munich 1860, a World Cup match (USA v Ghana), as well as all the usual fun included in visiting the German alpine region.

A summary of the Titans’ tour highlights:

 

  • 10 nights in Germany - 5 in quaint Bernau am Chiemsee, in Bavaria southeast of Munich, 2 in Ansbach, just west of Nuremberg, and the last 3 in historic Heidelberg
  • 1 WORLD CUP GAME - June 22 v.
  • 4 friendly games against German teams from Bavaria and Heidelberg, as well as a team from
  • 1 professional training session with Munich 1860 and autographs from the players 
  • touring Salzburg, , Hitler’s hideout in Berchestgaden, the King’s Lake at Koenigssee, Cinderella’s castle at Neuschwanstein, Dachau, the Neckar  River valley and Heidelberg
