The practice field request form (PDF Format / MS Word Format) is to be submitted by Wednesday (August 26th) morning by email to Mark Thomas at fields@wcusc.org or by faxing to 610-399-5260. The practice schedule will be available at the coaches meeting on Thursday, August 27th and posted on the web site following the meeting. Teams can begin practices the week of August 31st.
Notes: [1] U-06 Boys/Girls teams do not need to request a practice time as the club handles the field assignments for this division (U-06 Boys to practice on Mondays at Thornbury Soccer Park, 5:00-6:00; U-06 Girls to practice on Thursdays at Thornbury Soccer Park, 5:00-6:00). [2] U-07 and U-08 Boys/Girls teams are asked to not request Friday practices as this is the night of our First Touch Academy training program. [3] Delacy Soccer Complex Fields # 3 & 4 are already reserved for the U-18 Boys (Wednesdays) and U-18 Girls (Thursdays).
When submitting your team’s practice request, all coaches must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Exactly three choices - no more, no fewer - must be submitted.
2. Rank choices by priority: No. 1 favorite, No. 2 favorite, No. 3 favorite.
3. Be sure to include your name and your team’s division and team number.
Anyone failing to follow this procedure will have their request returned for re-submission. Given the number of teams involved, practice slot distribution can be a complex and difficult procedure. Every effort will be made to give coaches their first or second choice.
