Fall 2007 U19 Boys

SISL Slam 2007 Tournament Champions!

U19 won it all – 2-1, 2-0, 4-0 – only goal given up was a fluke, keeper slipped in mud in soft rolling ball.

On a dreary day in Souderton, Montgomery County, Pa a little known group of young men from WCUSC stormed their way to the SISL Slam Tournament U19 title.  Solid defensive play, superb goal keeping by Garret Savidge and relentless offensive pressure seemed to be the formula for success. Key goals by Andrew Schommer, Marteen Lavert, and John Buchanan catapulted our Hero’s into the championship. Jason Treichel scored 2 quick goals to give our boys control of the pinnacle match over the host squad, Souderton. “It was an all out team effort” said Jake Ottinger, the team’s sophomore sensation. The squad rounds off with Tyler Cheyney, Ryan Waters, Ryan Wallace, Matt White, Matt Shearman, Matt Scott, Andrew Palski, Geoff Lower, Tom Missimer, Nate Wendel, Nick Ramondo and Johnny “D” DiGiuseppe. The team was coached by Steve Schultheis and John DiGiuseppe. Hail to the Hero’s!
