Course Description & Registration Information: The USSF Grade 8 referee course is 18 hours in length. Students must have reached their 14th birthday by the last class date. Upon completion of the course, students take a 100 question multiple-choice exam covering the material presented. Obtaining a grade of 75 or better qualifies the student to become a USSF Grade 8 referee. Upon successful completion, students will receive a USSF Grade 8 Referee license. For more information on the course, contact Damon Nolan.
(FYI) In an emergency, students are permitted to miss ONE session. The student is responsible for the material. A student who missies one session may not retake the final exam. If a student misses more than one session, they will not be permitted to take the final examination and must retake the course.
Note: A Grade 8 referee license permits a referee to cover any youth game (travel or recreation) as a center referee or assistant, at the discretion of a referee assignor. The Grade 8 Referee license is high level then the Grade 9 Referee license.
