West Chester United Soccer Club (WCUSC) is holding travel team tryouts for the 2008/2009 seasonal year (June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009). All players interested in participating in our travel program should plan to attend the dates indicated on the next page. WCUSC combines a top notch coaching staff, professional organization, and some of the best club maintained fields in the area to provide a great soccer environment for our members to develop in.

WCUSC Eagles & Pride Teams
(April 23, 2008) After the successful launch of the West Chester United Soccer Club (WCUSC) Predators brand for the club’s premier first teams four years ago, WCUSC is excited to introduce the club’s Eagles & Pride travel team names.
WCUSC Predators'94 Girls Win the Red Rose Classic
 (May 4, 2008) Congratulations to the WCUSC Predators'94 Girls for winning the championship of the Red Rose Classic. The Predators went 4-0 and scored 19 goals and only allowed 2 goals throughout the 2-day tournament.
Generals - Quakertown Invitational Champions
April 20, 2008 - The WCUSC Generals'96 Boys won the Quakertown Invitational Tournament for the second year in a row. The team went 4-0-1 including two shutouts and won the tournament by accumulating more points than the 5 other teams in the division. Throughout the tournament the team worked hard on offense and defense and outscored their opponents by a 15-3 margin. Congratulations Generals!
Chargers'98 Girls Undefeated at the Spring Classic
 (April 5, 2008) Congratulations to the WCUSC Chargers’98 Girls were the top team in the Hockessin Spring Classic U-09 Group 2 following wins over Hockessin Academy Elite, Kirkwood Wildcats, & East Brandywine.
Thunder'96 Girls - Rocket Indoor League Champions
Fury'95 Girls - FarPost Indoor League Champions
 (March 29, 2008) The WCUSC Fury'95 Girls team won The Far Post Session II Indoor Championship by knocking off a tough West-Mont team 2-1 in the final match. Overall, the Fury tallied an impressive 12-4-2 record. Congratulations to the Fury!
Robert Urban Memorial Champions
(March 24, 2008) WCUSC U-10B3 Attack Division Champions
 March 11, 2008 – WCUSC Predators’94 Girls team were finalists in the Arlington Spring Invitational Tournament. The team went 2-0-1 during the first round, playing in adverse weather conditions including downpours, 40 mph gusts of wind, and cold temperature. The Predators’94 Girls never gave up playing against four very physical and skilled teams from Virginia. They finally met their match against the #10 ranked team in VA (DSTC Edge) loosing 2-0 for the championship. Congratulations to the players and Coach Miraglia for a job well done.
Predators'94 & '91 Boys Find Success in Virginia
 (March 3, 2008) The WCUSC Predators’94 Boys were Chesapeake (VA) Icebreaker Invitational Tournament U-13 Champions. The WCUSC Predators’91 Boys were finalist while playing up a year in the U-17 Division. Congradulations to the players and coaches (Ryan Sekkes & Jon Vail), along with WCUSC Technical Director Tino Mueller on an outstanding weekend.
WCUSC Rapids'92 Boys Compete in Bermuda
 (February 18, 2008) The WCUSC U-15B1 Rapids left the winter weather behind to play in the 2008 Clyde Best Tournament on the island of Bermuda. Their opponents included two of the Bermuda U-15 National Teams as well as an ODP squad from Rhode Island. The matches gave the Rapids a great chance to prepare for State Cups and a fabulous travel experience. Despite the small size of the island, Bermuda has a great "football" heritage and regularly competes at all age group levels with some of the best teams in the US. The Rapids showed well in the tournament, beating an ODP squad from Rhode Island twice over the course of the weekend. The team also proved very competitive against the national teams from the Island and a great time was had by both the boys and the parents.
Jefferson Cup Acceptances
(January 28, 2008) Congratulations to the WCUSC Spartans'89 Girls, Predators'93 Girls, Predators’94 Boys, Predators’95 Boys, Predators’96 Boys teams on being accepted into the Jefferson Cup (VA). The Jefferson Cup is held in March & is recognized as one of the top five tournaments in the United States. It historically turns down 45% of the teams that apply.

 (November 18, 2007) U-12B4 Cougars win the DELCO Soccer League U-12 USCS 4 Division Champions.
Dominators'96 Boys - League Champions
Dominators'96 Boys are DELCO SL U-11 USCS 4 Champions
(November 19, 2007) The WCUSC U11B3 Dominators captured their first Delco league championship with a win on Sunday, November 18, against the Springfield Sharks. Scoring two goals in the first half, the team went on to dominate the field with a resounding 3 to 1 win. The Dominators won the right to play on Sunday after an impressive season record of 7-1-2. In the semi-finals against the Rose Tree Rage, the boys won 1 to 0. Throughout their winning season, the Dominators scored 28 goals, while allowing only 5.
