(May 21, 2006) the U13G2 Strikers won the Shoot For The Cure Tournament hosted by Montgomery Soccer Association. The team scored 10 goals in the four games and gave up only 3 goals. The team beat Chestnut Hill 5-0 in the first game. Next, they played a hard-fought 0-0 tie against TriBoro Soccer Club. In the last qualification game, the Radnor Gryphons scored 2 goals in the 2nd half to take the lead, only to have the Strikers roar back to tie the game at 2 and keep pressure on for the last 15 minutes. The game ended at the 2-2 score and sent the Strikers to the championship game. In the championship game, the Strikers jumped to a 3-0 lead against the Deep Run Wildcats and closed out the game at 3-1.
