West Chester United Soccer Club will again be collecting gently used soccer equipment at our 2010 West Chester Summer Classic here in West Chester, PA during the weekend of Aug 6-8.
This year, our Summer Classic designated recipients for equipment will be “In Ian’s Boots”, a charitable organization recently founded in conjunction with Coventry Soccer in memory of one of it’s players, Chester Youth Soccer through the Chambers Foundation, local West Chester children through WCUSC’s Community Development program, The Heritage Academy schools in Ghana founded by a local teacher, and children in the Caribbean and South American through our local girls travel league, PAGS, so equipment will reach local children and those around the world!!!
Used soccer equipment collection bins will be located at each playing field during both days of the tournament so please take a few minutes to go through your equipment at home and bring your outgrown items for donation at the tournament.

”As Director of WCUSC’s Community Develop Program, I am very grateful to our members and visiting teams who are dedicated every year in collecting soccer equipment for the Passback Program. It is great to see players eyes light up and their enthusiasm for the game grow when they receive balls, cleats, and apparel from the Passback program. The players that we collect for are truly in need of the programs we deliver and the equipment we are able to provide." - Mark Thomas (WCUSC Programs Director and C0-Director of Coaching)
