2005 August - Titans Win KidsPeace Tournament
Titans Win KidsPeace Tournament in Allentown - August 27-28, 2005:  WCUSC U-13 Boys Titans traveled to Allentown for their first overnight tournament of the 2005-06 season and returned to West Chester with a 1st place finish.  The boys played strong throughout the tournament, recording a 5-0 record, scoring 12 goals and only allowing 1.  The Titans’ opponents included Pocono Mountain, Parkland Strykers, GCVSA, Southern Lehigh Valley, and West End - a strong team from the Monroe County area whom the Titans defeated 1-0 in the championship game.  Michael LaGace led the fabulous defensive effort in goal, with Will ("Wilma") Esten, Jason Donehower, Danny Radich, Danny Boate, Eric Miller and Johnny Lister stifling most attempts to even get close.  An injured David Schlentz contributed a short stint in goal as well.  The offensive effort saw goals from six players including Ryan Brewer, Aaron Volz, Luke Lefebure, Eric Grady, Jake Kittel, and Eric Miller.  Additionally, Kevin Robinson had two beautiful crosses that both resulted in goals, while Eric Moore assisted on a corner kick, and both he and Ryan Malloy provided key mid-fielder support, pressuring the opponents’ flanks.  All in all, a great lead in to the pending fall season.
