WCUSC Behavior Guidelines for Players, Parents & Coaches
- Tournaments & Games –
- Punctuality, appropriate behavior on and off the field is expected from all team members (players, coach & parents).
- Supporting yes, but NO sideline coaching & instructions from others then the coach
(e.g. “shoot!”, “pass!”, “push up”!” is coaching).
- Refrain from public criticism of the referees.
· Avoid the use of provocative language, movements and any distraction of the players.
- Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages on the soccer complex or whenever players are around.
- Any concerns about coaching decisions (positions, playing time etc.) should be addressed with the coach 24 hours after the end of the weekend.
- Positive reinforcement before constructive criticism.
- Observe & follow all facility rules & regulations.
Notes:
- Coaches are told to observe those guidelines and address misbehavior immediately.
- Repetitive issues will be reported to the club and can lead to limited playing time for the players, excluding from game day roster or release from the team.
- We all represent the club!
