(October 12, 2008) The Eagles’93 Girls knocked off Chesapeake United Fusion in PKs to win the semi-finals; then were victorious in a hard fought match against Virginia Rush Swoosh 1 - 0 to capture the Championship of the Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament. The victories were total team efforts against quality opponents who both participate in the Premiere Division of the Virginia Soccer League. The Eagles’93G ended the Tournament with a 3-1 record and only allowed one goal in four games to bring home the Championship.
