The WCUSC First Touch Soccer Program (FTSP) includes the U-06, U-07 and U-08 age groups in the West Chester United Soccer Club. The FTSP was created to offer the young players in our club an age appropriate environment where they have the opportunity to learn and develop as a player. Components of the Program are the First Touch Training and the First Touch U-08 Academy.

The main goal is that all the young players have a postive experience within a non-competitive environment, so everyone will enjoy playing the game. The Training in the FTSP  provides age-appropriate sessions with the focus on developing ball-control, technique and coordination. The goal is a “mastery with the ball,” which is the foundation to become a good and successfull soccer player in the future. The FTSP is the first phase of  player-development  within our club.
