CHARLESTON, S.C. (Aug. 28, 2009) – US Club Soccer is pleased to announce that the inaugural East Penn Cup for U-11 through U-14 teams will be held Nov. 21-22, 2009, in West Chester, Pa.  The event will take place at Delacy Soccer Complex and Thornbury Soccer Park, home of West Chester United SC.

Member teams from throughout the state of Pennsylvania may apply to the East Penn Cup. Squads that are not currently members may join prior to competing.

Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games (60 minutes, 11-v-11), and a fourth (championship) contest will be played depending upon the number of teams in each group. Additionally, winners will be given preferential seeding at US Club Soccer’s 2010 National Cup IX Regionals.

Application fees are $500 for U-11 and U-12 teams and $525 for U-13 and U-14 squads. The deadline to apply is Oct. 31, 2009.  For more information, please visit the East Penn Cup Web page on the US Club Soccer Web site or http://eastpenncup.clubspaces.com.
