It was a great season guys with tons of success. Congrats to all the guys on coming together and making some noise in the state, Regional, and National levels. Also thanks to Coach McMinn on leading us through a great season and getting us to that high level of play. Also thanks to coach Kevin Halliday for helping out a ton with coaching the team. Special thanks to Mrs. O’Deens, Mr. Douglas, and Mrs. Paxson. Also thanks to all the parents for getting the guys to and from practices and games and always supporting us. Great Season let’s keep it up next year.
10th Annual FC DELCO Players Cup.
In the last tournament of the year the guys came out firing. They knew it wasn’t going to be any easy tourney, in fact it was one of the toughest they faced all year. In the first game they faced a tough MC Cruzers team from New York. They guys came out on fire with many scoring opportunities in the first half, but finishing only 1 in the second half to hang on to a 1-0 win. In the second game again the boys game out on fire. Scoring on a PK in the first 5 minutes of the game and adding another in the 2nd half to win 2-0 against a quality Seacoast team from New Hampshire. The boys felt confident going into Sunday’s game vs. the 12th ranked team in the nation, PDA Ronaldo from Jersey. They boys game out firing yet again with an early goal in the first 5 minutes. Unfortunately PDA got a goal at the end of the game to end the game in a tie 1-1. The mood was still good though as the team found out they had won the division and were going to the semis. After some confusion the preds found out they would be facing their familiar foe, PSC Coppa. The guys didn’t come out firing in this game and ended up on the bad side of a 2-0 losing effort. Although the tourney ended on a bad note, the feelings were still high after having such a great showing in one of the best tournament in the country.
State Cup Review
Following another week off due to rain, the Preds played well on Saturday against PSC Coppa in the State- Semi Final. Unfortunatly their state cup run ended in a 2-0 loss. It was a good run knocking out high quality teams and making some noise at the State, Regional, and National levels. Lets come back strong next year.
Congrats on yet another huge 2-1 win over FC DELCO. The predators played with great heart and netted two goals against last years state finalists and great team in FC Delco. Now were in the Eastern Pennsylvania’s Final Four.
Congrats on another big win vs NPAA Nether. The team stepped it up netting 6 goals in a 6-0 win.
Congrats on a big 2-0 win vs our rivals from Montgomery, in the first round of States

WCUSC Predators’93 Boys Semi-Finalists in 2009 Jacksonville Presidents Day Tournament |
|
Congratulations on being Semi-Finalists in a very good Jacksonville 11v11 Presidents Day tournament
The team played great in the first two games against a Florida team and a solid Inter team from Massachusetts, but unfortunately in the third game an early PK caused a 2-0 loss to the home town team Jacksonville Fury. The soccer God’s were shining on us though and the Predators made it to the playoffs on the wildcard slot. Once in the playoffs it got a lot harder. We had to face a team that had beaten their previous opponents 6-1. The guys came into the game fearless. The Predators fought hard and played well holding an excellent South Florida Elite team to a 0-0 score at half. In the second half Elite snuck one in and handed us a 1-0 losing effort to the 24th ranked team in the nation. Overall it was a great experience, playing great teams and, as Nick said, “Making memorable moments”. The DUB-C Predators look forward to working hard and getting results at the next Tourney, Jefferson Cup. Special Thanks to Coach Kevin McMinn for getting us prepared for such a good tournament and Mr. Douglas for all his planning efforts and that great tournament packet. Also Thanks to Coach Kevin Halliday and Mrs. O’Deens.

A brand new futbol season got off on the right foot when the Predators won the Lititz Summer Showcase. The Predators welcomed 4 new players to their squad and it showed in their first game. The team didn’t get use to each other until the second half, but by then it was too late. The Preds were on the losing side of a 2-1 game. In the second game the boyz came out hard but let in a free kick goal at the end of the half. In the second half a successful PK got the team fired up and put them on the winning side this time in a 2-1 match. At the end of a so-so day the Predators found themselves in first place of the division. On the day of rest the boys didn’t come out restless. They matched the intensity of a good squad from Baltimore. Unfortunately after many chances the game ended in a 0-0 tie. The Predators luckily did just enough to go through to the final game on tiebreakers. Going into the final game the team knew they had to get their act together. They came out fast and furious putting in an early goal and adding three others for a final score of 4-1. The squad enjoyed their first big win of the 2009-2010 season and their first trophy in over a year. The boyz from Dub-C were off to a great start.
