2013 EPYSA Challenge Cup Champions
(May 21, 2013). Congratulations to our U11 Predators ’01 Boys and U11 Predators’01 Girls for winning the 2013 EPYSA Challenge Cup Division A. Our Boys beat TEYSA FC Europa in the finals 5-3, while the girls were crowned champions after a 1-0 victory over Penn Legacy. With the win of the Challenge Cup both teams finished a very successful year with winning several tournaments and also winning their fall U11 Division 1 leagues (Delco & PAGS). 2013 EPYSA Presidents Cup Champions
(May 21, 2013). Congratulations to the U12 Eagles’00 Boys, U13 Predators’99 Boys & U15 Eagles’97 Girls for winning the 2013 EPYSA Presidents Cup Championship and to the U14 Predators 98 Girls for being finalists. All 4 teams will now respresent EPYSA in the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championship this weekend in New Hampshire. Penn Fusion/WCUSC Founding Member of Northeast Girls National Premier League
(April 26, 2013). WCUSC/Penn Fusion SA are a founding member of the Northeast Girls National Premier League (NE NPL), starting this fall 2013 season. The NE NPL will offer a high level competition for our girls teams right below the ECNL level. The WCUSC Predators Teams (U13-U18) will compete in the NE NPL, a more competitive, better structured environment with a clear focus on player development. Zandi Selected for U14 National Team Camp
(April 11, 2013). Penn Fusion ECNL ’97 Girls and former WCUSC Predators’98/’97 Girls player Sydney Zandi was selected to attend the U.S. Under-14 Girls National Team Training Camp in Portland from May 12 - May 19. Sydney was identified as one of the top 100 players in the country in her age group. She will now have the opportunity to work with the U.S. Soccer National Team Coaches and compete against other elite players. Congratulations Sydney!
WCUSC School of Goalkeeper Excellence Spring 2013
(March 27, 2013). WCUSC announces the Spring 2013 Session of its WCUSC School of Goalkeeper Excellence. The training is for WCUSC travel players only and will start the week of April 1. All training sessions are led by WCUSC GK Training Coordinator Tim Lucas (EPYSA ODP GK Head Coach). All primary goalkeeper are highly encouraged to attend these sessions in addition to their team training.
